Professor Kristopher McLeod

Professor Kristopher McLeod began martial arts training at the age of 8, eventually attaining a 2nd degree black belt in Kenpo Karate. He has also attained ranks in 5 other martial arts. In 1995, Kris attended his first Gracie jiu jitsu seminar put on by Royce Gracie, and his very first association instructor Craig Cramer. He fell in love with the art and began training with them. Aside from a two year hiatus to study Russian Sambo, Professor has studied Brazilian/ Gracie jiu-jitsu for the past 24 years. He has fought and trained Mma fighters, and competed throughout those years, including winning or placing in the Arnold’s, Pan-Ams, NAGAs, and he won gold in the WSF Sambo nationals which was covered by Grappling Magazine. Kris attained the rank of black belt from Carlos Machado and Jamel McCurry in 2010, as well as his instructors bars and his first stripe from Craig Cramer in 2020. Professor has also had the privilege of training not only with Royce Gracie, but also with many other notable champions such as Lana Stefanac, Royler and Relson Gracie, JJ Machado, Dudu Barros, Mario Sperry, and many others. Now Solely representing Craig Cramer and Royce Gracie jiu-jitsu, Professor McLeod wishes to continue keeping the original wishes of Master Helio Gracie alive and be sure Gracie Jiu-Jitsu remains a fighting martial art and not only a sport.
