Sensei Joe Maggard
4th Degree Black Belt (Yondan)
Head Instructor, The Twinsburg Academy of Self-Defense
A student of Master Tim Loomis since 2003, I received my first black belt at the age of 12. I began teaching in 2010 as a Senpai (Junior Instructor). After countless hours on the mat as both a student and teacher, I was promoted Sensei and Head Instructor in Goshin Jujutsu. I am in charge of curriculum for Minna Jiu-Jitsu classes at the Twinsburg Academy of Self-Defense.
I play several musical instruments in my spare time, as well as practice Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I am currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology at The University of Akron.
